The trend of winning the first game of a weekend set continued for the Vernon Vipers as they defeated the Merritt Centennials Friday Night by a score of 4-3 in overtime. This afternoon an Island Division foe makes their first and only appearance at Kal Tire Place, the Cowichan Valley Capitals. The Caps have yet to defeat an Interior Division opponent and the Vipers will look to keep that statistic going.
