Game 14 Preview - Smoke Eaters @ Vipers

The Vernon Vipers are coming off a huge come from behind victory last Saturday.  They look to win their 4th in a row as they get set to host division rival Trail.  The Smokies have yet to win this month and that will only motivate them more.  As you will be able to see farther down in this post, the Smokies are much better on the road than at home.

Lets look at how these two teams matchup.

Special Teams - Powerplay - 4th in the league - 13 for 61 - 21.31%
                       - Penalty Kill - 8th in the league - 54 of 64 - 84.38%

There is no question the Trail Smoke Eaters seem to be more comfortable playing away from Cominco Arena.  They'll look to end a tough start to October with a win, so the Vipers will have to expect a very motivated team.  Tonights broadcast is internet only.  Starting at 6:45 with the pregame show.  Follow me on twitter @GrahamT_Vipers and I will be posting the link closer to the start time.
